Mullion-transom façade with concealed insert elements - the perfect visual fusion of window sash and supporting structure

The Schüco FWS 60 CV aluminium mullion/transom façade is characterized by maximum transparency thanks to storey-high opening leaves, slender elevations, high functionality and good thermal insulation.

  • Concealed insert elements - opening elements and fixed panels, visible width of only 60 mm, indistinguishable from the outside
  • Flush closed inside - window sashes are only recognizable by a filigree shadow gap and the window handle
  • Narrow face widths and floor-to-ceiling pivoting opening units up to 3 m high offer maximum transparency
  • Two construction depths and freely positionable skylights and downlights offer additional design freedom
  • Can be used for classic, storey-high ribbon windows including sill protection and punched windows
  • Optional integration of automatic ventilation control, e.g. for night-time cooling, which can be implemented with mechatronically controlled sashes - as a bottom-hung sash even without a window handle

The Schüco FWS 60 CV façade system combines harmonious, filigree views with high functionality and good thermal insulation. Opening elements and fixed panels are indistinguishable from the outside with a visible width of just 60 mm. On the flush closed inside, the window sashes are only recognizable by a delicate shadow gap and the window handle.

Thanks to our many years of experience in the construction of ultra-modern new buildings and our close relationships with many architectural firms, we focus on narrow profiles and minimal face widths.

Large unit heights with storey-high turn and tilt-and-turn sashes ensure maximum façade transparency. Statically enhanced elements and freely positionable fanlights and fanlights offer additional design freedom.

Tested safety, elegantly and invisibly implemented.

Floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened, where there is a risk of falling, require fall protection.

Tested fall protection in accordance with DIN 18008 can be realized either with profile-integrated parapet protection or a concealed opening restrictor.

Our aluminum façade systems stand for maximum comfort.

We also achieve first-class values in the categories of sound insulation, resistance to driving rain, wind loads and serviceability for large façade surfaces.

Another advantage of the FWS 60 CV façade system is the integration of automatic ventilation control, e.g. for night-time cooling, which can be implemented with mechatronically controlled sashes – as bottom-hung sashes even without a window handle.

We offer greater convenience through the option of simple and secure integration of electrical components, e.g. for automated Schüco door or sun shading systems.
