With super-narrow face widths, leaf face widths of just 54 mm and floor-to-ceiling fixed glazing, we offer a wood-aluminum lift and slide door with a panoramic design for state-of-the-art architecture and light-flooded rooms.

By dispensing with internal glazing beads and reduced edge rounding, we meet the architects’ design requirements for the sharpest possible edges.

With optional milled, flush-mounted lift and slide door handles, we are responding to architectural trends to reduce structures and functional details to the bare essentials.

Our wood-aluminum sliding systems stand for maximum comfort.

High-quality carriages with a load capacity of up to 400 kg make our sliding sashes particularly smooth-running and quiet to operate. We have special solutions for heavier weights.

Up to three swivel hooks with integrated locking function ensure a first-class tight seal.

The integrated gap ventilation is standard with us and creates an additional ventilation function for increased living comfort.

To meet your individual comfort requirements, we also offer a variety of possible features for our timber-aluminum lift and slide doors – whether automated, intelligently controllable, integrable into the smart home, for easy operation with SOFT CLOSE and SOFT OPEN function or equipped with an integrated insect screen.

Our lift and slide doors can optionally be fitted with an integrated insect screen.

The insect screen can be easily moved across and disappears into the frame to save space.

Thanks to our large construction depths, extremely narrow profile widths, the largest possible proportion of glass surfaces and thus maximum use of passive solar energy, as well as an intelligent combination of materials, we achieve outstanding thermal insulation properties without the use of ecologically harmful insulating materials.

Our unique 10-chamber threshold with the best thermal insulation values is the right solution for today’s and future requirements for energy-efficient buildings.

Thermally separated sealing rails also ensure optimum insulation. They can also be used horizontally to seal the upper sash area.

Timm stands for a high level of expertise in the field of security and has had a wide product range of certified security windows for decades, making us one of the few companies in Germany to be listed in the State Office of Criminal Investigation’s (LKA) list of manufacturers.

Even the standard version of our timber-aluminum lift-and-slide doors offers maximum security thanks to gears with robust locking bolts and the safety catch on the sealing strip.

Additional security components (alarm contacts, alarm glass, etc.) can be easily integrated into our wood-aluminum lift and slide doors.

Unique and fully integrated overall architectural system with maximum standardization

In the modular TIMM system, all necessary and individually configurable additional components (sun protection, insect protection, fall protection, insect screen, window sill, threshold) are combined in a “window and façade module” around the window and are quickly installed as a complete system on the construction site after completion in the factory. The TIMM system therefore guarantees the greatest possible individualization with maximum standardization.
