Wooden windows for maximum security

With the TIMM W 146 timber window, we have developed a window for the highest security levels. It combines resistance class RC 3 and bullet resistance in FB7 NS.

  • Three different design variants of the bottom section of the frame (weather bar, style rail, rain rail) can be selected for maximum design variety
  • Tested burglar resistance up to RC3 and bullet resistance up to FB7 NS for the highest security requirements
  • The most striking visual trademark of our wooden windows is the unique feature of the closed sill joints at all joints. This solution not only impresses with its seamless appearance, but also with the significant improvement in structural wood protection and the increase in stability in all corner joints
  • Seamless view with fixed glazing thanks to our special CNC-controlled millings consistently complement the appearance of our closed spandrel joints
  • Good thermal insulation

The most striking visual trademark of our wooden windows is the unique feature of the closed sill joint at all corner joints. It fulfills the desire of many architects and building owners for a design-oriented window.

Our closed parapet joint is a return to the high heritage of craftsmanship and precision of our window construction forefathers – translated into the modernity of CNC production and thus represents an absolute architectural and technical highlight.

In addition to the visual enhancement of the joint patterns, our solution improves the structural wood protection and ensures increased stability in all corner joints.

With our specially programmed CNC insert milling, we create seamless views for fixed glazing and thus consistently complement our closed spandrel joint for all corner connections.

In our design, we have dispensed with the usual and technically necessary compensating strips and the resulting disruption of the joint pattern as well as wider frame views.

Our significantly narrower profile face widths result in larger glass surfaces and allow more light to enter our wooden windows.

Timm stands for a high level of expertise in the field of security and has had a wide product range of certified security windows for decades, making us one of the few companies in Germany to be listed in the State Office of Criminal Investigation’s (LKA) list of manufacturers.

Our timber windows are already equipped with security mushroom cams and security strike plates as standard, making them difficult to pry out.

Additional security components (alarm contacts, alarm glass, alarm mats, etc.) can be easily integrated into our windows.
