Watch manufacturer A. Lange & Söhne
After an intensive consultation phase with the fantastic team of architects from jessenvollenweider, we were awarded the direct contract to fit out the new and architecturally unique Lange und Söhne watch manufactory in Glashütte.
The total area of the window constructions is an impressive 1900m² square meters. In the extension, which is characterized by its restrained elegance, high-quality and large-format wood-aluminium window constructions and aluminium windows, each in a special design, were implemented. The aluminium profiles were anodized and sanded to E1 quality before finishing to create a special play of colours. In addition, the window constructions were given an elaborate cladding with aluminum profiles to perfectly match the concrete block facade.
Most of the window systems were fitted with ZIP solar shading systems, including special sizes. We were also responsible for the planning, manufacture and installation of the façade cladding and windows for the passerelle/bridge connecting the old and new buildings.
