BERLIN
House Buchthal
The two-storey villa was built in 1922/23 by the architects Hans and Wassili Luckhardt and Franz Hoffmann. This building is an outstanding example of Expressionism in the Berlin architectural scene. Through intensive research in the archives, the listed building fabric is being carefully and professionally renovated. In close cooperation with the lower monument protection authority and the Berlin State Monuments Office, we have worked to ensure that Haus Buchthal can be interpreted as a harmonious interplay of different stylistic periods. The windows of the building were manufactured as three-part wooden integral windows in a special color and professionally installed. Wooden box-type windows were installed in the extension in keeping with the listed building. The restored entrance portal also deserves special mention.
