Thanks to our many years of experience in the construction of listed buildings, our timber window constructions have always been developed with the narrowest face widths.

Our insulating glass windows, composite windows or box-type windows are therefore not only impressive in old buildings, but also as visual highlights for design-oriented architects and planners in new buildings.

Our designs combine the slender and elegant window contours of bygone eras with the technical innovations and features of today.

The most striking visual trademark of our wooden windows is the unique feature of the closed sill joint at all corner joints. It fulfills the desire of many architects and building owners for a design-oriented window.

Our closed parapet joint is a return to the high heritage of craftsmanship and precision of our window construction forefathers – translated into the modernity of CNC production and thus represents an absolute architectural and technical highlight.

In addition to the visual enhancement of the joint patterns, our solution improves the structural wood protection and ensures increased stability in all corner joints.

With our specially programmed CNC insert milling, we create seamless views for fixed glazing and thus consistently complement our closed spandrel joint for all corner connections.

In our design, we have dispensed with the usual and technically necessary compensating strips and the resulting disruption of the joint pattern as well as wider frame views.

Our significantly narrower profile face widths result in larger glass surfaces and allow more light to enter our wooden windows.

With optional milled, flush-mounted window handles and push-in handles with a minimized rosette, we are responding to architectural trends to reduce structures and functional details to the bare essentials.

They impress with their ease of use, simple handling and optimum functionality.

Equipped with two seals, our timber window systems offer excellent sound insulation values and the best tightness values, even against increasingly frequent extreme weather situations.

Our self-developed third seal in the faceplate area further optimizes the tightness values against noise and driving rain on the one hand and prevents blocking (sticking together of the paintwork) on the other.

We implement very high noise protection requirements with special sound-insulating glass in insulating glass windows or with box-type or composite window constructions.

Opaque ventilation sashes, as pivoting sashes, combine rapid room ventilation with
high degree of architectural design freedom. In summer, the side-hung leaves can be opened permanently
remain. The sashes are easy to operate and are ideal for combining with large glazed units and fixed glazing.

For increased living comfort, we supply our Tilt&Turn windows with integrated gap ventilation as an additional ventilation function as standard.

Thanks to our large construction depths, extremely narrow profile widths, the largest possible proportion of glass surfaces and thus maximum use of passive solar energy, as well as an intelligent combination of materials, we achieve outstanding thermal insulation properties, including passive house suitability, without the use of ecologically harmful insulating materials.

Timm stands for a high level of expertise in the field of security and has had a wide product range of certified security windows for decades, making us one of the few companies in Germany to be listed in the State Office of Criminal Investigation’s (LKA) list of manufacturers.

Our timber windows are already equipped with security mushroom cams and security strike plates as standard, making them difficult to pry out.

With tested burglar resistance up to RC 4 and bullet resistance up to FB4 NS, the TIMM W 90 timber window meets the highest security requirements.

Additional security components (alarm contacts, alarm glass, alarm mats, etc.) can be easily integrated into our windows.
