Hotel at Oranienplatz
In the listed building from 1913 (architects Cremer & Wolffenstein), we were able to install large-scale window constructions in the
TIMM W 90
system.
The historical profiles and the closed parapet joint are particularly noteworthy. Due to the low parapet heights, fall-protection railings were integrated into some of our wooden window constructions.
On the ground floor and in the basement, aluminum window constructions and doors, some with panic function, were installed in the
Schüco AWS/ADS 75
system.
The vertical sliding windows on the street side and the polygonal arched/sloping façade are also worthy of note. The extremely complex input units in the system
TIMM W 90 D
system were made of oak with a glazed coating to resemble the historic doors and designed with sophisticated security and door technology – in keeping with the hotel business.
