Maintenance & Service

Preserving values through maintenance & service

We offer comprehensive maintenance/maintenance and repair services for windows, doors and façades.

Highlights

We have always set new standards with our ultra-slim and sharp-edged profile widths.

The classic offset sash design of the TIMM WA 90, with a face width of just 21 mm and an outer cover shell of just 50 mm, combined with filigree face widths of just 106 mm and 100 mm transom or mullion face widths, create timeless and stylish elegance with maximum transparency.

Thanks to the narrow external face widths, our windows are often used in listed buildings.

By dispensing with internal glazing beads and reducing the rounded edges [1 mm], we meet the architects’ design requirements for the sharpest possible edges.

We also consistently do without glazing beads on the outside of our wood/aluminum fixed panels and thus without joints that are critical in terms of building physics and visually disruptive screw connections on the inside.

Together with our basic depths of 90 mm, large-format glass surfaces for light-flooded rooms can be realized with narrow profile views [50 mm].

With three different sash contours available as standard, the TIMM WA 90 timber-aluminum window leaves nothing to be desired architecturally.

Thanks to the uniform look of the outer cover shells on the frame, mullion and mullion/transom, our wood-aluminum window systems can be easily combined with each other in a building or even in a construction.

Our TIMM WA 90 insulating glass window is visually no different from the TIMM W 90 C composite window.

With optional milled, flush-mounted window handles and push-in handles with a minimized rosette, we are responding to architectural trends to reduce structures and functional details to the bare essentials.

Tested security, elegant, invisible and economically implemented.

Floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened, where there is a risk of falling, require fall protection. To maintain the desired transparency, our wood-aluminum window constructions have been developed to accommodate double-sided parapet glazing.

This means that fall-protection glass balustrades can be “invisibly” fixed in both the sash and the faceplate up to a width of 1,600 mm and integrated into the surface of our timber-aluminum cover shells.

With our solution, visually disruptive overlapping of the frame profiles by attached, more expensive and framed glass balustrades is a thing of the past.

The construction is tested in accordance with DIN 18004-4 and documented with a general building authority test certificate. Of course, we verified the load-bearing capacity of the substructure and even took into account the failure of a pane of laminated safety glass.

Timm stands for a high level of expertise in the field of security and has had a wide product range of certified security windows for decades, making us one of the few companies in Germany to be listed in the State Office of Criminal Investigation’s (LKA) list of manufacturers.

In addition, our timber-aluminum windows are already equipped with security mushroom cams and security strike plates as standard, making it more difficult to pry them open.

With tested burglar resistance up to RC 3, the TIMM WA 90 timber-aluminum window meets high burglary protection requirements.

Additional security components (alarm contacts, alarm glass, alarm mats, etc.) are easy to integrate into our wood-aluminum windows.

Anyone who builds barrier-free demonstrates foresight. Barrier-free elements allow for needs-based use in every situation.

With our wood-aluminum windows, we offer the right solution for every need and every building situation!

Our diverse threshold variants range from the 20 mm standard threshold to the absolute zero threshold for a trip-free transition between inside and outside.

Our wood-aluminum window systems stand for maximum comfort.
They impress with their ease of use, simple handling and optimum functionality.
Thanks to our special rebate geometries, our large installation depths and two or sometimes three seals, we achieve first-class values in the categories of resistance to driving rain, wind loads, serviceability and long-term function, even with oversized windows

We implement very high noise protection requirements with special sound-insulating glass in insulating glass windows or composite window constructions.

Opaque ventilation sashes, as pivoting sashes, combine rapid room ventilation with
high degree of architectural design freedom. In summer, the side-hung leaves can remain permanently open. The sashes are easy to operate and are ideal for combining with large glazed units and fixed glazing.

We also supply our tilt and turn windows with an integrated gap ventilation as standard, as an additional ventilation function for increased living comfort.

The right wood-aluminum window system for every thermal insulation requirement.
Our extensive system portfolio offers a selection of different construction depths and design variants to meet current and future requirements for energy-efficient buildings.

Thanks to our construction depth of 90 mm, the narrowest profile widths, the largest possible proportion of glass surfaces and thus maximum use of passive solar energy, as well as an intelligent material combination of wood, metal and GFP [glasfaserverstärktes Polyamid], we achieve outstanding thermal insulation properties, including passive house suitability, without the use of ecologically questionable wood/insulation material combinations.

Compatible element for modular construction in the new TIMM modular system

Unique and fully integrated overall architectural system with maximum standardization

In the modular TIMM system, all necessary and individually configurable additional components (sun protection, insect protection, fall protection, insect screen, window sill, threshold) are combined in a “window and façade module” around the window and are quickly installed as a complete system on the construction site after completion in the factory. The TIMM system therefore guarantees the greatest possible individualization with maximum standardization.
